Transaction Procedures

You are put in contact with a foreign exchange specialist in advance of your deposit / settlement deadline.

  • A short application will need to be completed with the aid of a corporate trader. This is necessary in order to follow Canadian Federal Law.
  • A trading strategy is established, while considering market factors and time constraints.
  • An exchange rate is reserved, and you will be instructed to wire transfer funds to the appropriate Bank of America Trust Account in your home country.
  • Upon receipt of funds, the chosen Canadian party (RE/MAX or Lawyer’s Trust Account) will be paid out, often in a matter of hours.
  • You will be contacted when your funds arrive, as will the conveyance professional at RE/MAX.
