Whistler/Blackcomb Earlybird Season's Passes announced!

With powder dreams beginning to take shape for the upcoming ski season, Whistler Blackcomb (WB) has unveiled season pass prices for the 2005-’06 season. Passes purchased before Oct. 10 are cheaper than the last-minute variety. The price has remained the same since 2003 and translates into skiing and riding for as low as $6.24 per day, according to WB officials. The early-bird rate for a seasons pass is $1,329 for adults, $659 for youth and seniors and $409 for children aged 7 to 11. Super seniors age 75 or older can purchase passes for $99. All early-bird pricing is available until Oct. 10 and include three free tickets, a $50 ski and snowboard school gift certificate and $300 in WB retail coupons.

Information on Sea to Sky student passes and Spirit passes will be available shortly.
Passholders get 20 per cent food discounts, two-for-one Fresh Tracks Breakfast, 10 per cent off at stores, one free high-performance rental, one free hot buff wax, ski and snowbo ard school discounts, 50 per cent off Night Moves tickets and great summer discounts. “The 1,100 acres of new terrain that opened up at Whistler Blackcomb during the 2004-’05 season; this summer’s extensive improvements across both mountains; and the activities planned to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Whistler Mountain and the 25th anniversary of Blackcomb Mountain combine to ensure this season will be unforgettable,” said Stuart Rempel of Whistler Blackcomb.
