Canadian music artists expected to attend
WHISTLER (NEWS1130) – Whistler is hoping to revive the atmosphere of the 2010 games for this year’s Canada Day festivities. The three day Whistler Canada Day Celebration kicks off Thursday, July 1st.
This year the line-up will include a parade, an Olympic and Paralympic athletes recognition ceremony, and a free outdoor concert by Spirit of the West.
Some of the athletes confirmed include Robbie Dixon, ski cross competitor Ashleigh McIvor and snowboarder Maelle Ricker.
